my wife and I recently stayed at this campground. we foundthe campground to be crowded during the weekend and the sites were too close together for our liking.

Being a crowded campground is a good thing for us, but we understand that it can be overwhelming. When we are full the sites do seem close, but that happens at almost every park. We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay and maybe you could try us again during the off season. October is by far one of the busiest months we have. We loved the warm pool, the hay ride experience, the covered pavilion next to the volleyball net and playground. There were only 2 things we were not happy with: the parking and one particular worker on the golf cart. The parking on each side of the playground is too tight. We had a poor experience with one worker. When my husband opened the camper door, our dog got out. He was searching for the leash and the worker was rude to him about it. We know the dog has to be on the leash and we always had him on a leash. I'm all about acting professional and treating people as such, but our dog escaped, it wasn't something done on purpose. It could have been handled differently. The next day, our dog was using the restroom next to the pavilion. My husband handed me the leash so he could walk over to get a bag to pick it up. When he handed the leash to me, I stood at the location so no one stepped in it. The same worker stopped his golf cart in the middle of the road and just watched us. I felt like a criminal and very uncomfortable. I've traveled to many other campgrounds and have never had a poor experience with workers, except this one. We love the campground and the office staff were amazing, but that was simply unpleasant and uncalled for.

We appreciate you writing a review for us and for the recommendation. Sometimes employees can be over zealous. Frustration sets in when we have to deal with loose dogs and lots of dog poop, but that doesn't justify being rude to you. We will revisit this issue with the staff and remind them that not everyone is guilty of breaking the rules. It's good news that you did enjoy your time here despite the issue with the employee. There are lots of things to do here in the park and in the area. Parking is a problem here, but we try our best to fit everyone in. People are bringing more cars than just the tow vehicle and we are trying to accommodate as many as we can. Sometimes guests have 3 or more cars just for their site. It would be nice to have more property, but the creek limits any expansion. We appreciate you choosing us for your camping needs and we hope that you will come back and see us again when you are in the area.

Unfortunately, I couldn't keep my reservation and had to cancel last minute so I am unable to speak to how this place is to stay, However, I was a last-minute cancelation, and rather than take my money they offered to allow us to reschedule for later this year. I think that's great business especially since we all know someone signed right up for our opening and we look forward to staying.

First time in pigeon Forge and this is a great location. we met new people and made new friends. The park had a pavilion that had large screen TVs and we sat and watch the game Alabama Vs Tennessee.
Nice park. Had a band on Sat night. Close to town and Smoky Mountain National Park. A good time of year to visit. Not to crowded.
