staff was helpful and park was so clean and nice. I did notice some trees that needed to be trimmed of dead limbs, but overall a great place to camp

You are right about the dead limbs. But we have hired a company to come and remove a few dead ones and trim up the other ones. This is the busy time of the year and we are waiting until the park is a little more empty. Hard for them to work around the rigs. We had a very good time. The campground was very nice and so was the employees the restrooms and shower houses was always clean. Will definitely come back again.

Due to Gulf Shores AL cancellations due to hurricane damage, we made last minute reservations here for a family getaway. By "Last minute", we made reservations here on Sept 23, mainly due to most all other campgrounds being sold out due this being the high month for the area, but we only needed two nights here before moving to our preferred campground. We had a back-in in a very tight lane and had to ask someone to move their truck so we could park - no problem. Gravel pad where we could not get level, but easy hookups, marginal wifi but very good digital cable. Their clubhouse/check in is very nice and spacious with a pizza/wings cafe that is open until 8pm - good food. We hosted a family gathering at our campsite and had 21 folks over on saturday. Great food, great folks and a great time. The campground is very crowded, full, with lots of firepits burning at night and congestion on the lanes. Just kind of intense for a country setting with little room to spread out. It was okay for a couple of days, but not worth $70/night unless that's all you can get. Probably will not return here unless the crowded, unlevel, gravel sites are improved. When we left on Sunday, the lanes were very crowded and congested.(This review is copied from my Trip Advisor review under James H.
we have been here for four months. Best camping here in Pigeon Forge. the bath rooms are like a four star hotel. always clean and the room is a real bathroom not just a curtain for modesty. love the people who run and work here. they are always willing to help with whatever you need. you will not be disappointed here.
