Well, and the pool LOL We are far enough from the crowds on the strip, but only 2 miles from the main parkway. That makes it easy to get to restaurants and attractions as well as the neat shops out in Wears Valley. Thanks again for the review and recommendation. This was an amazing place to stay. Plenty of room camp sites were not packed tightly together like most campgrounds. The bathhouse was extremely clean and nice!! The play ground and pool was great my kids had a blast. Everyone that works there is super nice and friendly. We definitely will be staying here again.

Great 9 days relaxing. Great place to stay the entire staff go above and beyond. Camp ground is quit and well maintained never no problems. And be sure to stop and order you a Hunt brothers pizza during your stay. Our grand daughter just couldn’t get enough of them while we was there. And be sure and take a minute to say hello to Charles and Dee they are great people.

I have nothing but good things to say about the RVpark very clean very friendly people both in the office on the park grounds and the other campers, the only I was disappointed in was the trolley, waited 1hr. and one just passed on by, waited another 50min and that one also passed us up. they get a big fat F

So sorry about the trolley. Wish we had some clout with them, but unfortunately we are all at their mercy. For the most part the trolley is a good way to travel around the city, but during a busy time it is really hard to hop on one. But we are so glad that you enjoyed the park and the people here. We love the campground. Nice clean facilities and friendly workers. Love everything about the campground. Just wish we could use our dog fence.

We know that some parks allow dog fences, but people were leaving their dogs outside alone when in a fence. So in this case, all dogs must be on a leash instead of dog fences. We have only had a few leave them tied up outside alone and we quickly addressed that situation. We do hope that you will come back and see us again sometime.

This was our first time staying at this campground in Pigeon Forge. It had been at least 2 years since we had been able to get the camper out again so I was ready. This campground did delivery a good experience. The campground was nice and very convenient to town. The bathhouse was very clean and sizeable. We enjoyed the pool area a lot. I would suggest sticking to the main roads when pulling your camper to the campground unfortunately I followed the GPS on MAPS which took me down a very narrow country road. This is not the campgrounds fault and I am just giving my recommendation to anyone who comes in for the first time.
My family and I would stay again!

This was our first stay at PFRV park and it was AMAZING!! From friendly staff that greeted us to the personal escort to our site. The Community Lodge (with full bathrooms)was immaculate and cleaned multiple times daily. Also the Camp Store was well stocked and food delicious. Can't wait to come back!!!

Campground was quite a bit smaller than we expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Has a fantastic pool area if that’s your thing. But that’s about the only thing to do on site. It’s very close to all attractions including Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Sites are tight, cable tv didn’t work. But these for us were not worth the time and effort. It took roughly 50 minutes to drive 7 miles, had the town drunk ( or one of the many) on our trolley, talking garbage and not wearing his mask the entire trip. Town full of the same ole overpriced junk. And all this day started with a 2.5 hour wait for a trolley due to the fact that driving and parking your own vehicle would not have been possible. This would not be a regular stop for us.

I understand the frustration but what does all of that have to do with the park ? This review was all about the area and not the park , we have no control over the trolley, who rides or the traffic, or what is sold in the stores.
This was our first time here and we loved it! So much for the kids to do. No need to leave the resort for lunch because the cafe was awesome! Beautiful pool! Pristine bathhouses! We’ll be back
